His title Jalaluddin and fame came from Maulana Rum. It is said that his homeland was Balkh, where he opened his eyes in 1207 AD. He traveled to different countries for the purpose of education and teaching and left the world at the age of 66 in 1273 AD and was buried in Turkey.
